Assistant Product Manager

40 hours per week

In this challenging job, you are the connecting link in the development of cool products that will be available in various stores and web shops. As a rock for the Product Managers, you offer them support in every way. In addition, you work closely with colleagues from Sales, Graphic design, Logistics and with your colleagues in China, in order to reach a flawless purchasing process. A working day within product management looks different every day, so you never get bored, you keep learning and developing yourself.

Your duties will further consist of

  • Coordinate and label incoming and outgoing product samples
  • Monitoring product quality in collaboration with our quality department
  • Continue and follow / monitor deadlines of purchase orders
  • Coordinate and maintain the “photo database”
  • Trend watching to initiate new product development
  • Conducting market research, submitting questions to suppliers and comparing quotations in Excel
  • The processing of product data and the input of various data into our database
  • Collecting product data and systematically processing it in the specific customer systems (SIM, API, Trace One)

Your talents

To be successful within this position you are accurate, critical and have an eye for detail. You are not afraid to switch quickly and take the initiative when changes take place. You are full of energy and only quit when you have achieved the desired result. You are also customer-oriented and have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. So you understand very well how a purchasing process works. In addition to HBO thinking and working level, you have an excellent command of the Dutch and English language in speech and writing, you are handy with Excel and understand working in a data system. You already have driver’s license B in your pocket.
